The call is open to participate in the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award to be held on March 8, 2018 at Dialogue Place. The deadline for joining is February 28, by midnight.
The Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Naples represents an intermediate stage that will select the Italian social entrepreneur who will participate in Impact2, an international contest dedicated to supporting innovation with a social impact. The Italian winner, together with all the semi-finalists of the participating nations, will fly to Paris for Impact2, the great final event that will elect the winner on March 29, 2018 at the City Hall in Paris.
This international award rewards women who have chosen entrepreneurship as a leverage tool for emancipation and to face the social and environmental problems of their community. It recognizes the efforts of every entrepreneur who aspires to reduce the boundary between profit and purpose, because change becomes deeper when businesses are motivated not only by financial but also social objectives.
The creator of this global award is INCO, the global accelerator for a new economy, which has mobilized its startup network to encourage women entrepreneurs from all over the world to participate. Local editions to select who will fly to the Paris final will take place in Chile, France, Israel, Italy, Japan, Russia, South Africa, Spain and the United States. The winners of different nationalities will be invited for the grand finale to be held at the City Hall in Paris on the occasion of Impact².
Impact² brings together more than 1000 public decision makers, business leaders, entrepreneurs and journalists from more than 50 nations at the City Hall in Paris every year. The women selected from the various nations will be evaluated by a jury made up of women of excellence. The 2017 edition had special guests on the jury including Muhammad Yunus 2006 Nobel Peace Prize winner.
